How to remove a user/practitioner so they no longer have access to Dentally

When a member of staff leaves your practice, you do NOT need to delete their account only make them inactive. This is to ensure you have the information for auditing purposes in the future.

You can remove their access to your Dentally account but you will need to have Permission Level 4 (administrator) to be able to do this.

To remove a user’s access to the dental software:

  • Navigate to Settings

  • Select ‘Users’

  • Find the user you want to remove and click edit

  • Change their Permission Level to ‘0 - No Access’

  • Click ‘Save’

The user’s historical actions and records remain recorded on Dentally but the user will no longer have access.
