Occasionally you may have NHS claims returned with an error message. Any claims that have been returned show in your notifications. But you may find it easier to use the NHS Claims Report, which will show practitioners your own NHS claims, and those with permissions levels 3 and 4, NHS claims for all practitioners in the practice.

NHS Claims Report

  • Starting from the NHS Claims Report, set your filters to the dates you are looking at, and the status as Invalid.

  • From the patient record select the Treatment Plan.

  • Click on Submit Claim > Submit Claim

  • The claim submission screen appears.

  • The reason why the claim is invalid is displayed on the screen.

Amend the Treatment Plan

  • To make changes to the claim, you will need to go back to the treatment plan.

  • Open the Treatment Plan

  • Untick the treatment that needs amending

  • Amend as appropriate

  • Check the treatment

  • Submit the Claim
