๐ŸŒŸImproved: New Correspondence Data Tag - Appointment Day.

A new data tag is now available in the Appointment Specific Correspondence templates - [appointment_date]. This returns the date of an appointment only. This is useful for practices that wish to only inform patients of the date of their appointment where the time is not fixed - for example domiciliary care practices.

๐ŸŒŸ Improved: Create New Estimate from a treatment plan now supports creating multiple Documents.

When using a template to create an estimate from a treatment plan, previously a document could be saved, but to then create a second document, the user needed to exit this screen and create a new estimate document.

There are new button options:

It will enable users to more efficiently create multiple estimate documents for a single treatment plan. This is useful where the treatment plan requires multiple consent forms to be raised and signed separately.

๐ŸŒŸ Improved: Non-admin users can be opted into the Patient Audit view

Non-admin (Level 4) users can now be opted into being able to view the Audit tab in a patient record. This is only required and available to level 3 and under users in their User settings and is not enabled as default. This is a separate option to the existing 'Can view History panel' so users opted into that, can still not see the entire audit if not appropriate. The audit is helpful for some users to be able to trace the history of the updates to a data item where required.

๐ŸŒŸ Improved: Estimate Template selection is now in alphabetical order and not record created order

When selecting a template to apply when creating a new Estimate document, the options were previously displayed in the order they were created, these are now shown in alphabetical order to make the required template easier to find. The previously used template will still be the default selected.

๐ŸŒŸ Improved: More accurately assign SMS reply to a patient where there are multiple patients with the same mobile number

Previously, where there are multiple patients registered with the same mobile number, an SMS reply to practice did not know which patient to assign this to. The workflow now looks for the most recent patient SMS to assign this reply to.

๐Ÿ› Fixed: Customer Invoices not displaying correctly

Due to a change in the date format used, Dentally customer emails were not displaying properly in the Billing section of the App.

๐Ÿ› Fixed: Cursor position for email replies.

When replying to an incoming email, the cursor for the user to start typing was positioned below the received text. It has now been moved to the top of the email, where expected.

UK

๐Ÿ†• COMING SOON: NHS Forms. We have reimagined the NHS form and workflow, so it is easier to navigate and quicker to complete, resulting in fewer errors. This will be available from 1st April or if you would like to start using it now, please talk to the support team. More information will be available soon.

๐ŸŒŸ Improved: All user levels can access the NHS tab in patient record

Reversing a previous change, level 1 users can now access the NHS tab in the patient record. Level 1 users previously were unable to create or delete NHS exemptions, which is typically a reception task. Security restrictions on amending claim status or submitting a claim still stand and users must be opted into these if they are not at an appropriate level.

๐ŸŒŸ Improved: NHS UDA and UDA Forecast report shows practitioner Location ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

The NHS UDA and UDA Forecast report when filtered to 'All Locations' gives the practitioner names for the results found. It is possible for the results set to include the same practitioner for more than one location where the practitioner works in multiple practices. A tooltip when hovering over the practitioner's name now also reveals the location of this practitioner.

๐ŸŒŸ Improved: NHS England contract settings screen now restricts the claim sequence number being set over 950,000 ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

When setting up new contracts, it was possible to set the claim reference number starting point at over 1,000,000, which would result in errors once claims were created, as NHSBSA can only accept 6 digit claim numbers. The maximum value this screen allows is now 950,000 leaving room for claims to be numbered beyond that initial start point.

๐Ÿ› Fixed: Treatment on referral option in NHS Scotland claims is now considered when calculating capitation fees ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ

There was an issue where treatments typically covered by capitation for children were not calculated properly where the treatment on referral option was selected. This is now fixed and the treatments are charged appropriately

๐Ÿ› Fixed: UDA Report calculation ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

There was an issue with UDA calculation for amounts less than 1. This has been resolved.

๐Ÿ› Fixed: Private Forecast Report on Multisite correctly restricts the Practitioners displayed

Previously the practitioners' totals on show were for all sites and were only restricted to the requested site once selected by the filter. Where this filter was not available (ie where users were locked to one site)this was not possible, so the user was stuck with all practitioners on display.

AUSTRALIA

๐Ÿ†• New: Steri-tracking

Australian practices will be able to record and report on sterilisation codes against a patient when the treatment is done. This code relates to the sterilisation cycle for the instruments used during the procedure and allows the practice to look up which patients may have been infected if there is a problem discovered with sterilisation later.

๐Ÿ†• New: HICAPS Refunds

The new Refund button now works with HICAPS. Refunds can be processed electronically via HICAPS for credit card, debit card and Eftpos.

๐ŸŒŸImproved: HICAPS validation for estimates and claims

Users in AU using Hicaps for estimates and claims will need to ensure their practitioners have a provider number and their patients have a โ€˜health fund patient IDโ€™ before sending estimates or claims to the Hicaps terminal from Dentally. If the data is not available, a warning message will be displayed for the user to add the missing data and try again.

๐Ÿ› Fixed: Payment Allocation Timezone Issue

Some practices weren't seeing all of their payment allocations data when filtering to a single day. This has been fixed and the date filter now accounts for the practice timezone.

๐Ÿ› Fixed: Discount errors

An error is now raised when a user includes a letter or symbol in the input field (this includes monetary symbols).

๐Ÿ›Fixed: Payment Allocations Totals Report

The Payment Allocations Totals Report was not working correctly for Australian practices. This has now been fixed.
