Treatment Plan Settings - Renaming and Cloning.

Let's take a look at how to rename and clone a treatment plan on your patient's chart screen.

Giving your treatment plan a name can make them easier to distinguish on the patient's chart, especially for those patients that are seeing multiple different dentists for different courses of treatment at the practice.

Having the ability to clone your treatment plans can help save you time in the long run, meaning 6 or 12 months down the line you will have the checkup open and charted ready to go.

Step by Step Instructions

  • To rename your treatment click on the cog icon once you have selected or opened your treatment plan.

  • Enter your name into the 'Nickname' box.

  • You will see the new name reflected on the chart screen here...

  • To clone your treatment plan use the page icon at the bottom of your chart screen.

  • Click 'Clone' when prompted

  • This will create an exact duplicate of the treatment you had charted

  • You can see below we have renamed the second plan ready for next year.
