For Northern Irish NHS dental practices, follow these steps to successfully add your practitioner's performer number and pin to dentally

Let's take a look at how to add the dentist's performer number and pin number to Dentally.

These details are needed to be able to successfully send claims to the NHS. Watch the below video ⬇️ or follow the step-by-step instructions to get started.

  • Go to settings

  • Click on Users

  • Go to Practitioners

  • Edit the required dentist using the icon on the right-hand side

    • NHS Number, GDC Number and Prescriber Number are not required for the sending of NHS claims but can still be entered

  • Scroll down to see the Panel Numbers section

  • Simply click '+ Add panel number' in the bottom left

  • Enter the Performer Number and Performer Pin provided by the NHS

    • To edit or correct an existing entry simply click 'Edit pin' and type in the correct number.

  • Lastly, make sure the practitioner Tier Amount is correct before clicking Save

    • This is needed so Dentally know when to prompt for prior approval on a claim.
