How to amend permission levels in Dentally?

Opt-in Security options πŸ”’

In order to make Dentally as flexible as you need, you can select to allow certain users at a lower level some important higher-level functions.

Those with permission Level 4 (administrator) can grant some additional permissions to individuals on lower security levels. To read about the default security levels take a read of this article here.


How to amend my practitioner's opt-in features?

  • Log into Dentally as an Admin user

  • Go to settings and click on users

  • Edit the user you wish to adjust the security for (done one user at a time)

  • Tick/Untick the boxes to adjust the additional permissions and functions you wish this member of staff to have

  • If you are a level 4 user you will notice you have a couple of opt-in security features in your own settings as well that you can enable yourself.

    • for all practices, Hide stats on the dashboard?

    • for UK practices, can submit NHS claims?

The permission levels available for Australian practices vary slightly from those seen above.
