Why should I be using recall automation in Dentally?

Based on the data of over 4000 practices, our best practice setup is proven to boost recall effectiveness whilst saving you time across the practice!

Take a read of the details below to see how this can work for your practice, details on how to set this up are linked below. However if you decide you need some assistance setting this up then get in touch with our dedicated Recall team through Live Chat in Dentally.

How does it work?

Dentally recall automation focuses solely on patients who have a recall interval set on their patients details and do not have an upcoming appointment for this already in the diary during this timeframe.

We have a best practice set up that we recommend using to ensure maximum recall success. However, you can utilise this however you see fit.

Getting started...

  • First make sure your practitioners are setting a patients recall interval after every appointment based on clinical need.

    • This is done in the patients details tab.

  • Encourage you patients to pre-book their next recall following completion of treatment, to minimise longterm effort and reduce recall costs.

  • Check you patients contact details are correct, this can then be maintained through Dentally Portal for all patients.

Then you are ready to set up your recall workflow!

How to set up recall automation?

Firstly, you will need to enable the recall automation settings πŸ‘ˆ use this guide here for the details on how to turn this on.

Once this is enabled you will be able to set up your automatic recall messages. As mentioned above we do have a best practice recall set up which is outlined below.
