🆕 New: e-Ortho.  We are delighted to announce that our e-Ortho integration for NHS Scotland is now live.  Your claims can be submitted in two stages and full details of how to do this can be found in our Support section.  Read more here

🆕 New: Waiting Room:  We have made some time saving and ease of use improvements to the way the Waiting Room functionality works within Dentally.

  • Adding the patient age, first line of address and postcode to the screen - ensuring the reception team are identifying the correct patient quickly without the need for multiple clicks. This also helps to confirm the patient’s identity upon arrival in surgery.

  • Adding the reason for an appointment and description - so the practitioner can quickly see why the patient is in surgery without referring to the notes.

  • We have introduced an easier way to see how many minutes a patient has been waiting through colour coding.  The amount of time the patient has been waiting is still displayed, but the colour coding will now show if the patient’s appointment should have started. Green means it is still before the patient’s appointment start time, orange means it is less then five minutes after their appointment start time and red if it is more than five minutes after their start time.

  • Plus we have separated the waiting list, so it is easier to see who is waiting for you and who is waiting to see other clinicians in the practice.

🌟Improved: Deciduous teeth now appear as round so that's it's easier to distinguish them from permanent teeth

🌟Improved:  Recalls:  You can now search using the patient surname on recalls.  This should make it easier to group families together and not send multiple correspondence to the same family.

🌟Improved:  We've redesigned the patient merge interface so it's easier to see which two records are being merged. It also no longer requires the patient's names to match exactly.

🌟Improved: We've added a new option to the day list that will include the patient's data of birth on the print out.

🌟Improved: We've improved the patient chart images section so that you can see more information about the photo or radiograph without having to hover over the image.

🐛 Fixed: The "UDA Band" filter on the NHS claims report wouldn't correctly show Band 4 claims when selected.

🐛 Fixed: A bug that caused an error when trying to calculate the price  Scottish NHS treatment plan where the price of an individual treatment was more than £1,000.
