Firstly, locum Practitioners need to create their own user and practitioner profiles on your Dentally app. You can do this by following this guide in our help centre.

If they are claiming UDAs for themselves, they would create the user with all their NHS details added as normal and submit the claim themselves using this help article here.

If the UDAs are being sent by the practice, the locum will chart and charge the NHS treatment in full ticking the items as complete.

Once charted and charged by the locum user, the "Owning Dentist" will log in and click the "submit claim" button on the plan. They need to be sure to amend the claim form and set themselves as the practitioner to successfully send the claim.
