Additional UDAs are available for NHS England Practices from 1st March 2024
NHS England has revealed that they will be awarding additional UDAs starting 1st March 2024 to practices seeing patients who have not received NHS dental treatment recently.
How do I receive these extra UDA’s?
Simply chart and claim as usual using your standard NHS codes. The NHS will award you these bonus UDA’s automatically if the patient is eligible. There are no additional steps needed on your end!
Quick heads up...
There is no way for us to predict which claims will benefit from these extra UDAs. Therefore, it will not show in the expected/pending UDA value. However, once the NHS award them to your claims, the updated UDA amount will automatically show up in the Awarded/Completed UDA value.
