Acquiring phosphor plate images BEFORE charting your treatment

Depending on your own unique work flow you may find it easier to acquire your images before charting your imaging procedure treatment codes.

Follow this video example or use the written instructions below πŸ‘‡

Written instructions below πŸ‘‡

Open a course of treatment and click 'Acquire images' at the top of the treatment plan on the Chart.

Once Dentally Vision loads, Use the 'favourites' and 'standard' tabs on the left to choose your imaging procedure.

Check your acquisition sequence and method are correct, then click 'Proceed with Acquisition'

Click 'Start Scanning' once you are ready to proceed, and 'Stop Scanning' once you are finished.

All your images will now be sitting in the 'scanned images' section at the bottom of the vision acquisition screen.

You can then proceed to drag and drop the images you wish to save as part of the procedure onto the relevant sequence location.

You can even choose to associate multiple images to each sequence location. Once you are finished, click 'Begin uploading' at the bottom of the screen.

This will upload your Images to Dentally for you to view and edit as needed. Once you close down Dentally Vision, you will see that these treatment codes are now charted on your course of treatment ready for you to chart the rest of your treatment plan.

You will notice each procedure line has its own image icon that you can click on to view the image associated with it.
