How to use Dentally Portal practice notifications

Let's take a look at when/how the practice can be notified of important Dentally Portal events.

To help your team keep track of any changes made by patients, Dentally Portal can send the following notifications via email to the practice:

  • New Patient Bookings

  • Existing Patient Bookings

  • Booking Cancellations

You can choose which notifications your practice would like to receive by heading to Online Booking > Settings.

Emails will then appear under the Inbox > Unassigned Email tab in Dentally

If you want to, you can assign it to the patient and it will appear under the patient's correspondence tab.

Where the notifications are sent is dependent on whether you use Dentally’s custom email domain feature (included on the advanced plan).

  1. With a standard Dentallymail domain - Notifications are sent to the Dentally practice inbox

  2. With a custom domain - Notifications will be sent to the Dentally email that you specify in the site settings for each site.
